Benedict College has an array of scholarships based on academic merit, campus and community involvement, and/or financial need for eligible candidates. Scholarships may be offered by the institution, individual department, or outside organization. Scholarships are competitive and applicants are encouraged to apply early and to as many opportunities as possible.
The OAS International Scholarships are administered through the Office of International Education (OIE) and based on high academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, community and campus involvement, and strong faculty recommendation. Awards range from $1,000 to $8,000 USD for the fall/spring academic year. Eligible candidates may apply after their first full-time semester at Benedict College. Returning students may apply for the OAS International Student Scholarship for academic year 2015-16 and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a minimum semester GPA of 2.5. Entering freshman and entering transfer students with outstanding credentials are automatically reviewed for scholarship awards upon receipt of undergraduate applications.
